Embracing Differences and Building Connections with Tri-Faith Initiative

Recently, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands received a tour of the Tri-Faith Initiative’s Tri-Faith Center. The Tri-Faith Initiative is a one-of-a-kind interfaith project in Omaha that brings together a synagogue, church, mosque and an inter-faith center. The goal of the Tri-Faith Initiative is to build connections between the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim faiths. This is done by cultivating inclusive environments that aim to advance the understanding and embracement of difference, while building upon similarities.

Located at 13136 Faith Plz, Omaha, NE 68144, the Tri-Faith Center serves as a hub for social events, educational activities, and gatherings that bring diverse people together. The center is a gathering place for people from across the country to interact and build on America’s promise of religious freedom. The center showcases our desire for understanding and serves as an example of how to deal with issues that are critically important today.

The Tri-Faith Center welcomes people of all faiths and is a model for co-existence and acceptance.
